09/25/09 01:16:18 AM Patch 3.2.2 Socorrow	So I rolled a DK. I just hit level 60, ported to train, hearthed back and was about to get the Flying training when I noticed how cheap it was. Expert (reg flying speed) only costs me 225G and I'm only Friendly with HH. Artisan (epic flying speed) costs 4500G. I could have sworn that Expert costed 600G before, minus rep bonus. Now is this a special DK price? If so I never would have known because I just started my first one today and I won't feel to dumb. Or did they lower it again in 3.2.2 and just not tell us? Or am I just going crazy? But seriouly I would have put money on being 600G for Expert training. I would have been that sure of myself. Ok I feel I need to clarify seeing as how no one has said anything yet. I know that in 3.2 they lowered all the costs for Riding training expcept for the epic flying traing and they also made it so you got ground mounts at 20 and epic ground at 40. I also know that the traing was affected by rep bonuses from either HH or Dalaran. The thing is is that I thought they lowered the Expert training down to 600. So now on my DK its less than half that. So do DKs get a big discount or did Blizz sneak this in on 3.2.2 and just not a lot of people have noticed yet? [ Post edited by Socorrow ]
09/25/09 05:57:11 PM Patch 3.2.2a Mumper <Lead Content Designer>	You guys are correct, we reduced the expert riding skill price in 3.2.2 to 225g. We also changed the faction discounts for the riding skill vendors in Honor Hold and Thrallmar to use Stormwind and Orgrimmar faction. There are a couple reasons we made this change. First off, we wanted expert riding to be available to more people at level 60. 600g just did not seem like a reasonable expectation for most level 60 players to have when they roll into Hellfire Peninsula. Especially after purchasing your level 60 skills. The second change, regarding the factions just made a lot more sense this way since you will not have any Thrallmar or Honor Hold faction when you enter Hellfire. Finally, I want to apologize for this change not making the patch notes. We strive to get every change we make into the notes but this one somehow slipped by. Once again, my apologies on that, but hopefully the lower price will help make up for it. ;)

10/05/09 10:43:55 AM Patch 3.2.2a Mumper <Lead Content Designer>	The full price of Expert Riding is 250g. I listed 225g in my original post thinking that most everyone would have at least honored with Stormwind or Orgrimmar faction by that point. Just wanted to follow up on this and make sure everyone was clear that the full price is 250g and then faction discounts apply that reduce the price all the way down to 200g at exalted. Thanks and sorry for the mixup.
