About you
Dear Prospective Raiders,

Before you fill out an application and certainly before you receive a ginvite, there are a few things I need to make perfectly clear.

1) READ OUR WEBSITES. READ THE STICKIES. READ THE POLICIES. READ THE APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS (http://mb.jmhsoft.com/index.php?title=Policies:Raid).

2) Months Behind is a raiding guild, filled with raiders. Do not apply if you have little intention of showing up to raids, and showing up prepared. Expect to spend 100g in potions and repairs every night. If you don't know what particular preparations it takes to raid, you're probably not who we're looking for.

3) Specs. Our focus is wholly PvE. We have no interest in your PvP spec, nor will you be especially welcome in raids. WOTLK has granted everyone a little bit more leniency regarding the roles of different classes in raids, but do not mistake leniency for a shot at free loot or for a misunderstanding of your limits. Non-traditional roles may require you to prove yourself more than traditional ones. Ret paladins and enhancement shaman are not discouraged from applying, but understand that it is not acceptable to come to a raid and do a "decent" amount of DPS. If you cannot beat any mages, warlocks, hunters, rogues, or myself, then I will find someone who can. That is not to say off-specs need to top their respective charts, but it DOES need to be made clear that their performance is equal to our best players, and not restricted by their class choice.

4) Raid spots are limited. The downsizing of raids has been a boon to the group as a whole, but can sometimes mean that individuals are forced to sit out, especially for particular encounters which require stacking the raid a certain way. If you are not willing to take turns on encounters as needed based on attendance and available classes, this is not the raid for you. Along those same lines, we have absolutely no interest in hearing about any complaint you have, no matter how valid you think it is. Many of us have raided together for 2 years now and have made sacrifices for each other on a weekly basis, if that's not acceptable then I'm sure you can find a guild that wants to hear you whine. On a nicer note, we do typically look better on players who voluntarily sit out for a more effective class/player and who maintain their availability for the evening, even if they are not called upon.

5) Loot. You're probably not going to get it. If loot is the only reason you're interested in raiding with us, this is not the guild for you. 25-man raid loot is handled via Loot Council, which means you will need to participate in multiple raids on a consistent and competent basis before some pieces of loot are available to you. I don't care how badly you want something, odds are VERY good that there are 10 people who have put in more work than you and been here longer than you and also want it. C'est la vie. If that's not ok, tough.

About us
The guild name was officially created on the Eredar (PvP) server on 1-6-2006. However, the guild began raiding approximately one month earlier under the tag with another established Eredar guild . and , referred to as TIMB or TIMBer, killed lots of raid bosses together. You can see our illustrated progression history through MC, BWL, AQ40, and some of Naxx here: http://mb.jmhsoft.com/index.php?title=Pre-BC_Progression

Although we started many months behind other guilds on our server, in less than a year TIMBer out-progressed all but one Horde guild on Eredar, and we experienced and mastered some of the most enjoyable raid encounters in the game. Somewhere along the way, the two guilds merged under the tag. We killed five bosses on Naxxramas before the 2.0 patch in turn killed pre-BC raiding.

Once the Burning Crusade expansion came out, MB started strong on the new raid content. We were the first Horde guild on the server to clear Karazhan, Serpentshrine, Tempest Keep, Black Temple, and Sunwell (almost) and we've since beaten almost every boss in the game, except M'uru, KJ, and Doomwalker, because he's way too hard. After 3.0, revenge was taken out on M'uru and KJ. *edit-Doomwalker down, months behind*

In Lich King, we've been farming the currently available content for the better part of two months. Sartharion with 3 drakes is killed weekly, along with Malygos in 6 minutes.
