Ensidia just defeated the hard mode (Firefighter) of Mimiron. It was the last hard mode needed by Ensidia to unlock the Celestial Planetarium and face Algalon the Observer (25-Man). Congratulations to them.

Quote from Mackzter

After progressing and fine tuning the strategy for many many hours on Mimiron Hardmode we finally managed to get him down. It should have died a couple of days ago when we first had our low % tries but the tuning of this boss is amazingly good, close kill! This means that we are the first guild to reach the 25man version of Algalon.

25-Man Hard Mode First Kills
  Boss America Europe
Flame Leviathan Insomnia (04/15) Irae AoD (04/15)
XT-002 Deconstructor
The Assembly of Iron Deus Vox (04/20)
Hodir   Inner Sanctum (04/19)
Freya Exodus (05/02) Inner Sanctum (04/17)
Thorim Exodus (04/24) Inner Sanctum (04/16)
Mimiron   Ensidia (05/01)
General Vezax   Irae AoD (04/17)

Too bad they used flower power to get Hodir killed, and then Blizz blocked any other guilds from doing the same. Several other guilds knew about the tactic, but didn't go there. IMO, Blizz should remove Ensidia's Hodir kill and make them kill him legit just like every other guild has to.

By that logic they should remove every other kill as well, maybe except for Thorim, because that's the only encounter they don't change every other day.

Where do you draw the line to "remove" and "not remove"?

Well, its unfortunate that the guild who used the flower power mechanic (which was a huge change, not minor) then went to Blizz and informed them of the issue thus having it changed. I'm not saying that it shouldn't have been fixed, but Hodir seems to be nearly impossible with current gear levels for every guild, INCLUDING Ensidia.

You don't change gateway bosses (ie hardmode) after a kill. That's the difference here.

They really want Algalon to be unreachable, having 1 guild or 1000 guilds reveal the reason for that doesn't matter. I have a hard time figuring out just what the hell does Blizzard want.

Hard modes should be hard, but hotfixing things constantly and intentionally leaving bosses in the clearly impossible region just doesn't fit. Steelbreaker, Hodir, XT002 and the new FL seem to be in this region now.

Another thing I have a hard time grasping is hard mode loot. The only way to get it, is to defeat bosses at max difficulty hard mode, because the rest doesn't drop it (or just 1 item). But it also looks like you need hard mode loot to defeat bosses at hard mode. How are you supposed to do that? Great example is Flame Leviathan, where the AOE gives a sort of "enrage timer" in the form of vehicles getting destroyed no matter what after a certain amount of time. Without higher ilevel gear there's no way to get more HP to survive that long enough to kill the boss... It's as if they wanted guilds to be creative with game mechanics to progress at hard mode...
